Over the last ten years, internet sites like YouTube have revolutionised the way that we access and watch video material. In this workshop we’ll look at practical ways to choose and use authentic videos in class. Online videos not only provide a motivating way to develop students’ listening skills, they can also be used to bring course book pages to life and give students a model to follow when making their own videos. What’s more, they allow students to view and preview video material when they’re not at school, helping them to become independent learners.
